Kannabis VD Bucxtale is a son of Contact VD Heffinck.
Contact v/d Heffinck started an international jumping career under the saddle of Toni Hassmann as well as an international career in breeding with top products such as:
Grand Cru v/d Vijf Eiken, BWP approved stallion
Galiano di Cantero, vice champion free-jumping in Ukraine
Hades v/d Heffinck, vice European champion free-jumping

On the dam's side we find the coveted blood of the KWPN preferent stallion Concorde, who supplied the KWPN with a whole host of top show jumpers.

Odile De Haar, Kannabis' dam, is Z-jumper and granddam Gamine has the Elite Preferent Prestatie predicate within the KWPN. They descend from the Dutch breeding family 1821, which produced, among others, the stallion Formaat (V: Widor).
