The BWP bred Thunder Van De Zuuthoeve belongs no doubt to one of the most talented sires of his generation.In the sport he already managed to convince in the cycle and today he prepares his international entree under the saddle of Jos Lansink.
Excenel springs from a very good mother line. His grandmother Mariline is a BWP elite mare who can easily jump over 2.10 m and who is now continuing her sports career in the USA where she is under Phil Richter a real winner on the 1.50 m level.From the same bloodline descends Olympic (f.Lys de Darmen) who in May 2001 occupied the place 29 of the WBFSH Ranking, thanks to the excellent results in the heavy international GPs

• Verkocht als veulen op de BWP Auction Antwerp 2004 voor een topbedrag

2007:

• Reserve-sieger op de BWP-hengstenkeuring te Moorsele. Deze prima all-rounder werd goedgekeurd voor de dekdienste binnen het BWP na beste verrichtingsproeven.

2008:

• Excenel V, in eigendom van Dhr Veneman uit Nederland, liep een schitterende nationale cyclus. Ook in Gesves liet hij zich op geen enkele fout betrappen en zo werd hij met brio winnaar van de finale te Gesves

2009:

• Excenel V behaalt schitterende resultaten in de Nationale Cyclus met zijn ruiter Jan Van Dijck.
• In Gesves bevestigt de hengst zijn grote talent en wordt Kampioen van de 5-jarigen in de finale te Gesves

2010:

• Excenel V schittert voor de 3e maal te Gesves en laat alle dagen foutloze parcoursen optekenen.
• Hij wordt voor de 3e maal op rij kampioen te Gesves.Een echt unicum!

2011:

• Internationaal succesvol onder Harrie Smolders en Jos Verlooy van Stal Eurohorse
• Begin augustus 2011 verkocht door stal Eurohorse - Axel Verlooy.
• Excenel V's nieuwe ruiter op de internationale concoursen wordt Jamal Rahimov van Azerbeidjan.

2012:

• Zeer succesvol op internationaal niveau met zijn eigenaar en springruiter
• Jamal Rahimov die Azerbeidjan vertegenwoordigde op de recentste Olympische Spelen te Londen
