Thanks to a stallion like Pommeau du Heup there is once more French blood of top quality in BWP breeding. Pommeau has so far totally lived up to the expectations of the sport. Under the saddle of Yves Vanderhasselt this SF stallion has shown "rittigkeit", power and quality and has also shown a fantastic regularity of flawless circuits. At the BK (Belgian Championship) in Gesves, Pommeau made it to the finals as a 5- and 6-year old.
Ulena VG, the mother of Jupiter, is a daughter of BWP Ambassador Heartbreaker. The grandmother Odessa is the “Queen of LRV”. She won 15 times in class Heavy, 18 times she came 2nd and 11 times she came 3rd. 1997 was her top year when she won both the Provincial and the National Title. Under the saddle of Nick Van Gorp Odessa has shown a quality and a winners mentality that only a few horses can reach and this makes her, even today, a real top mare for the stud.
